Anthony D. Cak, PhD




I am a research scientist and administrator with interests and specialization in landscape ecology, stream and river ecology, geospatial technology, data visualizations, and science policy and communication.

I am currently the Associate Director of the Environmental Sciences Initiative at the CUNY Advanced Science Research Center, which is part of The Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY), New York, NY, USA. My previous experiences have included serving as a Program Analyst in the Integrative Organismal Systems Division and a Program Specialist in the Emerging Frontiers Division of the Biological Sciences Directorate of the National Science Foundation, Arlington, VA, USA (now based in Alexandria, VA, USA).

I hold a PhD in Environmental Science from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, USA. I also hold a MS in Biological Sciences and BS in Environmental Sciences from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, IN, USA.
